[ Edited ]

This one of my favorites so I ordered the original.   Not sure on the other one.

Easy to prepare and cooks up great in air fryer.  I have  not had in a long time.  Quick and easy meal in summer on a salad.

I got 18 and will split with my daughter who likes as well.

I always have this chicken in my freezer!  But I always get the Original version.

So today I'm trying the Potato Crusted version, and looking forward to it.

Re: Heartland Fresh TSV - March 19, 2025

I bought the original. The last time that I purchased this chicken was about 5 years ago. I remember that because it was at the beginning of covid and I had the good fortune of being able to work from home when many others lost their jobs.  Since then I retired and for a time this morning I was reluctant to spend $100 being on a fixed income, in other words, social security.  But then I thought, why not. This chicken is delicious and so convenient.  Most of the time it is only me, I am not feeding a family and they will keep well in the freezer for a long time. I remember that these are very tasty.  As we say, if you get them, please enjoy!

I've been buying the original crusted on auto-delivery for over five years; ever since my mom gave me a bag she bought. Store-bought chicken patties don't come close to comparing with these.

They are so delicious and versatile.

I like to cover them with mozzarella near the end of cooking and eat them with Rao's marinara and serve with pasta.

Also have made them as is and sliced over Caesar salad for a summer meal.

Re: Heartland Fresh TSV - March 19, 2025

I started buying this at least 5 years ago and enjoyed it was fast to heat on a night I didn't have time or energy to cook. I have since switched  to Oak Valley Farms I had a not great experience with my last Heartland order; chicken tough and grisly. I decided to try Oak Farms and really like it. My only negative is the pieces are in a bag of 5, frozen individually but if you take out one, the bag with the remaining is not resealable. My daughter buys the Heartland and has never had a bad one; sure mine was a fluke.

Always have in my freezer...I'm already on an Auto Delivery for a cheaper price...Like the original better than crusted...both are great

I came on here to see what others thought of them.  I'm going to buy this TSV in the original.

I don't often buy food items anymore, but I love "fried" chicken and it's nice to hear that others love them.

I keep hearing hosts say that the TSV is same price as last year. Does anyone know if you get the same quantity for same price as last year?

I was seriously considering this.  It looks delicious and I'm sure it tastes very good.

However there is no information regarding how the chickens were raised, are they hormone and antibiotic free?  Were they pastured raised or raised in a typical factory farm?  Have seed oils been used in processing this product?

No information regarding ingredients on the coating and nutritional information.

I have no problem occasionally indulging when dining out  but if I'm going to be eating at home I want a healthy product.  I find the lack of information telling.
