I was sort of thinking of ordering some, since something like that is nice to have in the freezer, but then I looked at the nutritional data.  HOLY COW!  Each 5 ounce chicken piece has 20 carbs!  That's close to half a normal carb budget for a whole meal!!!  I guess I'll keep cooking for myself.

@TheMemphisVette  Same.  I have these on auto-delivery, they're fantastic!  I won't be without them.

Cut up over a caesar salad (or any salad) is my favorite.  Also with stir-fry vegetables, or for chicken parmesan.  Cut up and roll them inside large romaine lettuce leaves with salsa, guac, and cheese for terrific chicken soft "tacos."  Also, instead of burgers, these also make incredible chicken sandwiches.

While these are quite expensive, in my opinion and considering my finances, I could see how they'd be handy to have in the freezer. I love fried chicken but rarely cook it, mainly because of clean-up on my stove, so these would be nice when I get a hankering.

We have a local butcher shop from where I just purchased a chicken. I'm not sure where they come from but they sure had a very different, very fresh taste to the meat. I'll keep following that "obsession" for now.

too many unhealthy carbs for me

a lot of added salt.

this is something i can def. do without.   i eat as little of processed foods as i can.  give me a good salad with unprocessed protein, oil olive and lemon juice and i am a very happy girl Smiley Happy

@CalminHeart   They have them but what I found...

Omaha Steaks has 8-ct, 4.5oz chicken fried chicken on sale for $44.99.  So for 16, it's $89.98 -- plus $19.99 s/h. That's $109.97 (not calculating tax).

Today's TSV has 18-ct, 5oz chicken (more chicken) for $99, free s/h (not including tax).  Plus, I already know I love Heartland's seasoning they use on their chicken, and it's always tender & juicy.  I'm sure of the taste and they're delicious.

hkrgrl, I agree! Add some chickpeas or beans of your choice & you'll have a healthy protein that keeps you full. I eat a huge salad with beans & healthy homemade dressing almost every day for dinner.
