I like the hi-lo on a top, but not on a dress unless it's more subtle.  I hope I'm not offending anyone here, but I think that dress looks awful.

If you are under 5' the dress will hang on the floor unless you wear heels. If you wear flats it is not going to hang properly. I don't get the hi low hems. I think they are not flattering.

I especially don't like any dress that assumes I'm going to wear heels.  It's hard enough to get me into a dress, let alone a high heel shoe!!

If you look at the video, it seems the longer part of the dress is easy to hem shorter. It's a straight seam across the back! If the 'lo' section is  too long I plan on stitching it up an inch or two.

I think the dress is cute, it seems like something nice to throw on in the summer and have an easy day.  It is also nice that it comes in petite.   I do wish that it has a littie bit of a waist, maybe some elastic in the back to help sinch it in a little.
