You mean everyone in America doesn't already have a half dozen of those things?  You'd think half the country lived off the grid.

I have never had one of these devices but decided to purchase for peace of mind. I also got one of the Frost Guard windshield protectors. Living in Ohio, you have to be ready for winter!

@Tuffcookie

I have both those products and like you in Ohio we need to be prepared for winter here in Colorado.

These are great. Im tempted as i dont have one with jumper cables.

These are extremely useful for power outages and when you need remote power.

Thinking about a gift for my brother too.

The only thing holding me back is finances righr now since ive been home on leave from work with my broken shoulder and leave is only partial pay. I go back to work this Monday thank god. My credit card is melting.

ETA: UPDATE I bought 3; 2 for gifts, 1 for me ( my color is on waitlist).

I have an older model. 3 hurricanes this fall. Both will come in handy as my older model has in the past.

These are great. I gave them to my kids once they started driving and working goofy hours.  Halos have gotten them out of jams in terms of starting the cars, low tire pressure, etc. The coolest thing for them was the charging capability for their devices during road trips. I have a few older models that I keep in the house for "whatever."

Re: Halo Bolt TSV - November 30, 2024

As someone who always finds a nail or always has a slow leak in my tire these are great. I have to say I bought the one last year at this time for the same price and then like two months later they came out with this one with the much better screen with it on the top. And I think when I saw it, it was the same price. So I'm pretty annoyed by that. This screen is much better.

I don't think I can justify a second purchase just because of the screen.

@beach-mom This device is hands down the best little device to keep in your car besides a first aid kit.  Sorry but leaking tires don't always happen where there is a gas station with an air pump available.  We have a lot of back roads and this device saved us multiple times.  And it filled our 4 wheeler tires as well.

     Since many of us have multiple vehicles i got two.  I'm sure those with "roadside service" will say I just call XYZ and they come out.  Well we have roadside service but sometimes you are going to sit and wait for them. This got us back on the road in minutes.  It's easy, not at all complicated, anyone can use it. I highly recommend having one.  Especially if to take road trips or just travel a lot for work,  It really does what it says it does.  For us it's worth it

Re: Halo Bolt TSV - November 30, 2024

@Kachina624  Respectfully, this had nothing to do with living "off the grid".  My husband goes to multiple locations for his job everyday and this device saved him several  times.  One time before I had one he called roadside for assistance but it took them 2 hours to get there.  They were down 2 drivers and the only available one was 2 hours out.  Then he had to find where my husband was.  Driver used GPS but the building lot where my husband was had multiple look alike buildings lol,  Got him this little device and the next time he had a problem he was back on the road in minutes.  😊  Roadside service is great but you are going to wait for them.  And if you just need a jump or air in a tire 🛞 this thing is worth it.  There are plenty of places especially at night you don't want to be sitting and waiting on help.  And it really is easy to use.
