I have 2 of them, and they used to have a website, but even before Covid I started noticing problems.  They didn't seem to have stock all the time, and it just seemed to get worse over time.  I tried to order some extra pads and a replacement hose that APPEARED to be back in stock, but all they sent me was the pads.

Just speculation, but I was wondering if maybe the kids took over the company and didn't know how to run a business.  They used to be the best.  The competition from what I could see left more water on the floor than the Haan did.

i had wondered the same thing awhile back. I love my Hahnfloor cleaner. It was so old that I had to finally replace it. Couldn't find anything on it. I just assumed that it shut down during covid. After a ton of searching I finally purchased a Bissel. Works great. I have other Bissel products and they work well. Hope you find a replacement that works for you.

Steam mops seem to have generally fallen out of favor.  I just wonder if they've ruined floors? I know they shouldn't be used on laminate floors but I bet people tried anyway.

I don't know if it's fallen out of favor or just fallen out of trend much like all those kitchen gadgets we see and then they just disappear for awhile and then come back in a new-ish form.  Remember when every celebrity chef had a blender?  Rarely see those except the occasional Vitamix.  I haven't seen a pressure cooker demo in awhile either. Maybe they'll come back in fall for soup season.  Manodlins have veen around forever, but they seemed to disappear for awhile until they came out with the one with the hopper for the food.  I do love my steamers though.

Haan sued a company they had partnered with in a business other than steam mops. They sued saying that the company had fraudulent practices and ripped them off for millions. I don't think Haan was able to prove their case. It was a US based suit and the court documents are online. Perhaps this is what affected their business.

@Kachina624   I have been using Steam Mops since they came out on QVC.  I would not be without one.  They are wonderful!   Never damaged any floor I used them on.   Shark is only one I ever used.   Love them.

@Icegoddess   QVC just was selling a Shark on this past week.  I bought it last year and I love it.

I had a Haan steam mop and loved it because it was lightweight, easy to use and did a great job. Unfortunately it just died and I haven't been able to find another one like it. I bought a Shark steam mop but it isn't anywhere near as nice as that Haan was. The Shark is big and awkward to use. I really don't think the Haan company is still in business, but I might be wrong - I hope so.

Loved my HAAN steam mop. It died, and I bought a replacement that just isn’t as good. I just bought an SI-35 on eBay. Hope it lasts a while. Sorry to hear the company might have tanked.
