HSN has another instance of lowering their TS price after it launches at midnight.

Now at 7:00AM the TS price has changed from $44.99 to $29.99.

It's still showing $44.99 for me at 6:12 central time.  ETA--just checked at 7:50, and yup...it's been lowered in price.

It is $29.99 showing at 7:42 am ET.  Looks like a cute jacket.

@Ainhisg  once you put it in your cart and go to checkout, the price will change to $29.99.

HSN did this with a Giuliana TSV a few weeks ago. Does anyone know why they drop the price? Could it be that sales are so bad that they make the decision overnight?

I don't know but G’s clothes sell well. I purchased from this line last year when it was a TSV. It was a fleece jacket and the matching pants were an add-on. I bought two sets and they are just okay. I wouldn't purchase from her line again.

I think when "they" realize the item is NOT going to "sell out in one airing" ( as we're told in breathless tones at midnight) they lower it while the lowering is good....

Once it drops off the TS/TSV status, sales probably REALLY tank...

But it shows how much of a markup there is....you can bet Qurate is still  making money on the item at the lower price.....which is OK with me....it's a business after all and we do have other choices....

What's bad is they will train people to wait....why pay the full nut at midnight when it may be less when you wake up....a LOT less????

I wonder when Q will adopt this strategy? Also...when will Q return to "pre-sales" on the TSV like HSN does now....so people can see what's coming up and maybe decide not to purchase something else in the meantime  so they CAN purchase a later TSV?

Of course that works both ways too....forgo TODAY's TSV/TS for what's coming on Saturday....so it's a wash...

@MG Chris  off topic from this thread but I was eyeing the last TS which was the checkered trench. I didn't order it but looked at reviews and they are not very good. I am disappointed because G has some nice stuff, but I think in recent months the quality has declined (going by reviews).

Sadly, they all decline over time. What made them great isn't important to them anymore.
