Sorry but this bag looks like cheap vinyl you can buy at big box stores.  I am amazed at the people that fall for her junk.  I returned 3 items I tried ( blowdryer, readers, and steamer) and returned ALL of them.  Never again.

"Genuine Leather" according to HSN

@bargainsgirl    If the vinyl look doesn't give it away, the bright, cheap brassy-looking gold hardware and the "Joy" nameplate will.  If her "leather" is as it has been in the past, its a paper-thin layer laminated to cardboard.

She suggests using it for "special" occasions....can you imagine?

I can't believe she thinks it's wise to place that huge honkin' JOY sign on front. That alone would prevent me from buying it.

To tell you the truth, I hate when everything has to be emblazoned with a name or a logo.  It's just free advertising for the company. I have a pair of pants from way back when from Victoria's Secret and you have to look inside the pants to know where they came from.  Now, everything's got Pink emblazoned on it, including right across your rear end.  The larger or more obvious a brand name or logo, the less likely I am to buy it.  Doesn't really matter to me if it's VS or D&B......or JOY.   Basically, it looks like a bag from Wal-mart.

I'm not against cheap purses.  In fact, I rarely pay more than $50 for a purse.  My current purse is a boc purse I got on clearance on HSN. Yes, it has a small boc label on the outside, but it doesn't stand out.

Nothing great about it, and too small for an everyday bag. I gotta carry grocery bags with me now!

@Icegoddess

Your comment on PINK across the rear end reminds me of something..

I used to be an avid biker. for thirty  years...I had my own motorcyle, and with friends rode most states east of the Mississippi before giving up the hobby due to age and a few close calls due to people playing on their phone instead of watching where they were going. And deer.

Anyway...I was a Harley rider, and belonged to their affinity group, Harley Owners Group.

It's an unfortunate truth that like the rest of the US population, obesity was present in the MANY of the riders of Harleys ...

Harley Owners Group.....HOG for short, which is their logo to identify the group.

Prominently featured on clothes, hats etc.

HOG. Not a very flattering name for a club with a lot of overweight riders!!!!

She's probably saying to use it for "special" occasions because it would fall apart quickly with every day use.

I guess many people must like and buy her bags or else why would Hsn keep selling them?

I got the mop she sold several years ago and was surprised at how bad it was.  I don't like words on accessories or clothing, and certainly not the designer's name, even tho' "joy" is a regular word.  It's a joy to be alive but I don't need it on a handbag to tell the world.

That said--I think it's an ok bag but too big for a wristlet, perfect for an outing where you don't need to take a lot of stuff.  Not sure if a regular east/west style wallet would fit in it  Someone here said the leather is laminated to cardboard?  Really?  Sounds odd to me.  Not really a "special occasion" bag but could work since it's not too big.
