I love and have his pans too but I have so many this same size, I like higher sides in a pan (keeps splatter in check)-

I wonder why he changed the construction on his prior version, that was so perfect. Probably cheaper to make and higher profit...

ETA: Ido appreciate the strainer, for draining fat-

@10sluvr   I really need to discard several of my old pans, several because their non-stick surfaces are worn and my 2 largest pans because they are just too heavy for my to use safely.  I might actually make my first HSN purchase in well over 10 years with this TSV pan.  Glad to see your mini review.  Thanks.

i never ordered from hsn, until about 5 yrs. ago. Curtis stone has a cast aluminum 9" pie plate, if you want to try it out. I got for oven use, but my hubs grabs for on stove use-eggs, grilled cheese, etc. Great no-stick surface.

@10sluvr and @Chi-town girl - I decided to get the TS as well as the 9" pie pan.  I have a yellow and blue kitchen so ordered the TS in blue - went back and forth between that and the red because I do like a little red in the kitchen too but stuck with the blue.  The pie pan was only available in the red so that'll be my red accent. Have never tried this cookware before.  Don't do a lot of cooking because it's just me but want nice, versatile pans for when I decide to venture into the kitchen.  This seems like it will fit the bill, so to speak.

Does anyone know how much the TSV pan weighs?
