I used to get these and haven't seen them presented in a few years.  8 pr for $39.99 + #3.50 s/h and tax.  1 pair are transitioning glasses and there's an avator style bifocal.  Since I haven't seem them in so long, I picked these up during the midnight airing especially since I'm having to level up again.  I would've preferred a more rounded frame, but for around the house these are fine because I DO like to leave them in different places so I don't have to walk back into a different room because I forgot and left them in another room.

I actually bought Peepers sunglasses in 1.0 to wear while driving awhile back and prefer that over the bifocal readers, but that's okay.  I recently bought a pair of readers at the grocery store and they were 20 some-odd dollars for 1 pair.  I keep the older, lower magnification readers around since I can use them for different things, like I don't need reading magnification for cooking or doing yardwork or walking around at the grocery store.  In fact, I find the reading magnification too much for browsing the grocery store, so I keep 2 different pair in my purse.

Re: HSN - Joy Mangano Readers

hi!

I like her readers as well. I've had good luck finding a variety of styles on eBay for good prices, usually on buying a lot of 5 pairs.

You can't beat the price.  I bought them years ago for somone in a nursing home.  They were sturdy and well made.  She is still using them.

I don't wear readers, but if I did, I would buy them in an instant.

I bought them, too. I've always thought her readers were the best, well-made I've ever had. I currently wear a 1.75 (in some I bought from Amazon...flimsy, don't fit well, but kept because I needed them) but ordered a 2.00, since she didn't offer a 1.75. I hope they're not too strong.

I have her reader/bifocal sunglasses and I would love a backup. This is the only product by her that I've purchased and loved.

I placed an order as well simply because of the price.

@Spacrazy & @Icegoddess

I was debating and finally caved in and purchased these TSV readers, can't beat that price of $39.99 + tax & shipping for 8 pairs.

@Ainhisg Just hold onto them if they're too strong.  You'll get there.  I'm currently wearing 2.75s, but I can tell I'm beginning to squint or close one eye, so I guess it's time for 3.00s.  It's sad becuse I have to give up my sparkly glasses and I can't find those anymore. At least I can still use them for shopping.

@GenXmuse Yeah, I have no interest in any of her other stuff.

I got mine. Great quaity for the price especially for the hinge quality.  I don't care for the aviator style sunglasses though.  The hard case with magnetic closure is good quality.
