Re: HALO TSV - November 25, 2023

[ Edited ]

I ended up buying this. A month ago my battery died just a day after I thought maybe I should get it replaced, After standing out in the pouring raining putting the new on in In decided at least now I could once again put off purchasing one of these. Then last night I was channel surfing and here was this thing. This morning at 7AM I had a soft tire. The place closest to me had a broken air pump so off to the next closest place that thankfully was working. Came home and placed my order. Smiley LOL

One thing I hate about my current car is I can't monitor the tire pressure. My last car I couold flip through the menu and see where each tire is at. If there's a nail in a 50 mile radius of me it will always end up in my tire so I tend to be a little touchy about this so this will probably come in handy.

Oh I should add that the Geico computer system was down during my battery incident so no roadside assistance. Life man! Smiley LOL

I ordered the magenta swirl early this morning.

I'm so very tired of waiting for a man to show up or AAA.

Almost 4 months waiting for painter, yea, it's  always a man who promises, even a licensed one. At least with the Bolt I can do this myself.

I consider this one step closer to freedom from men.😀

No interest in this at all. My car insurance policy has roadside assistance and I trust them way more than I'd trust myself in using something like this. It may be made for "dummies" but I think I'm a step below that Woman LOL

@Carolina925.  I agree, my car insurance includes road service and I've had them arrive in as little as 10 minutes after I called.

We've seen this thing in umpteen configurations.  Talk about a boring presentation.  It makes mattresses look whiz-bang exciting.

Being able to put air in a low tire is tempting. After I go about a mile my car lets me know if I need air. I do have AAA which is helpful for a car that won't start.

I've had Q on off & on all day (doing decorations) and more than once I noticed that the vendor just couldn't get it to work so they had to go to a video.

It doesn't make me feel confident if I were alone in bad weather with my car on the side of the road trying to get it to work.

May be a boring presentation but it is one of the handiest items I have ever purchased.  Didn't use it for 2 years, then everybody needed it!

The ones under $100 did not have the outlet plug and air compressor.  I have one of both and at times they have been PRICELESS!

I'm getting Halo for my sons for Christmas. They work 2nd shift, we live in a state with cold winters, and their cars are getting old.

I'm considering it.

I'm miles to the nearest gas station and most are no longer open 24hrs here since Covid. Their air isn't free so bring quarters or a credit card with you. When it works.

Re: HALO TSV - November 25, 2023

I considered getting one for our car...but as I read mre about it...it cannot be in a car when it gets too hot.  I live in Phoenix...it's too hot most of the year.  I don't want to have to carry it in and out every time I go somewhere.  I have AAA...I will just use that.
