After reading some of these notes I did look at the presentation on the TV. I think it IS cut small.

I also realized I bought one years ago and put in the closet. Got it out and still don't like it.

I don't know it's the jacket or the fact that they need to size up, but everybody looks like they're stuffed into it and can't breathe.

brii, Ita..maybe it should be modeled unzipped..it's definitely for the younger girls..very slender~

The collar destroys the look. All I can think of is "The Flying Nun."

I think the style is cute.. but...

anyone with any weight issues especially around the belly it just emphasizes that part. I think it only looked flattering on the slim thin models... Pat the host did not look good in it as it was too short and hit her at what she says is her worst place as far as carrying weight. Same goes for the model they call John's Mom... she is beautiful, but, the jacket just did not fit her shape.

If you ordered, did you see the 1 Jacket-4 Ways video? I hink it was quite flattering to busty ladies. I also think it has to be very VERY carefully styled.

Too short and tight for my liking. IMO only the super skinny folks can pull this off.

I would say the quality of the leather is very good. It is smooth and soft. Unlike previous GILI jackets I have purchased and returned, the workmanship is excellent. No rumples, poor seams or odd places along the hem where the hem glue was applied improperly before turning up and sewing on the lining.

I don't like how the collar lays when it's unzipped. It's just too much fabric...

On the morning show Pat said she is a "full" 8 and that is the size jacket she had on. But she admitted that it if she were to order it she'd go up to a 10 as she carries her weight in her waist and prefers more room than the size 8 had as this is a fitted style.

Jane said she can wear either a 10 or 12 in QVC clothes and said she had on the 12 in the jacket since this is fitted. She also said she had been concerned, since she is busty, how this would fit, so going up to a 12 is what worked for her.

It seems the general recommendation is to go up a size if one of the following is true:

1. Busty

2. Carry your weight in your waist

3. Don't like a fitted style

4. Want room to layer a sweater underneath
