Re: GCI TSV - April 27, 2024

Watched this morning's rerun presentation and it looked quite nice to me. Not sure if it's a good price but it sure looked very well made to me. Not familiar with the brand so can't offer anything of interest to anyone. I don't spend much time at the beach but I like the carry options. A caller said she had been buying them for a few years and they were still working well.

Our time to sit outdoor (or even step outdoors) is quickly coming to an end. It's even to hot to sit by the pool. We hibernate from May to October in Arizona only coming out if we have to. It would be a nice chair for all the winter activities we have though.

Re: GCI TSV - April 27, 2024

I ordered this a few minutes ago.  I ordered it because I don't currently own any folding chairs.  So, while I don't know that this need for me is great, at least right now, it's a practical item and if I suddenly need to go somewhere and take a chair for myself, I won't have to scramble to get one.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: GCI TSV - April 27, 2024

We bought 2 of these chairs several years ago when QVC first offered them. I think we paid around $70 each at that time, so this is a good price, if the quality's the same. These chairs are extremely comfortable. We've taken them to 1 to 2 hour outdoor shows and been fine right through the end of the show - no back pain or stiffness at all. The mesh in the back really lets it breathe. They're easy to open and even easier to close. They're not exactly lightweight, but they aren't overly heavy either. I'm 5'4" and can handle it just as easily as my 6'5" husband. They close flat, so they're easy to stow in the trunk of your car or store in a utility closet. We love the rocking motion! The only down side is that you need to use them on a relatively level surface, but that's true of most collapsible chairs.

I like the TSV chair.

There's a shade for a separate purchase.

Why does it look like a baby stroller shade to me though? Smiley Very Happy

These GCI Chairs are AWESOME!! We bought 2 (Indigo and Cinnamon) when they first came out with the wider version few years ago. Absolutely love the relaxing rocking ability! Very handy to take anywhere you go. Great for watching the kids sports, neighbor invites, watching fireworks etc. And Way more comfortable than any other portable chair. Easy to carry over your shoulder too. Highly recommend!! The price is a fantastic too I’m pretty sure we paid $70 plus for each of ours.

Our model does fold up differently though. It’s more vertical when carrying it then todays TSV. And our cup holder is on the side vs. in the front. The back is higher than this one too, which my husband likes. 🤗🤗🤗

This chair looked really cheap and rickety on the tv tonight.

Re: GCI TSV - April 27, 2024

It seems like they toggle tsv's between qvc and hsn. Yesterday HSN had a sun chair and today QVC had theirs. That happens with shoes, food, pants, etc,  just an observation.
