For those of you thinking of returning this TSV camera because of AA batteries please listen.
You can use rechargable batteries in this also. Here is a quote from the Fuji site regarding the S4080 on their site:
"The most flexible power source on the planet? We think so. You’ll find AA batteries in every corner shop and on the planet, meaning you can keep shooting even if you run out of juice on the move.
Or why not invest in a set of the latest rechargable Li-ion AA cells for everyday work?"
There are three types of batteries you can use. Choose what one you want on set-up.
Also you run the batteries down " no matter what kind you use" using the LCD screen over using the viewfinder. I use regular bateries and always keep an extra set in my case. It is a personal choice.
Hope I could help you decide as I really am impressed with this camera. I have never took a bad photo indoors or out.
I hope I helped a few people that will send back an awesome camera just because of the battery.
