I started with Fitbit one, lasted a long time, even accidentally put it in the washer and dryer and it still worked, I haveR works good but I splurged and bought the new one, it looks a little sleeker.  I love the HR feature when I am on the treadmill.
The tracker does help me moe more, I find myself walking as I wait for elevators and just plain moving around more. I love it!

@hopi@Thanks I am walking NYC tomorrow.

I was in NYC 2 weeks ago.  My sister wears one of these type of gizmos but I'm not sure which one. Anyhow, she was with me when we were walking and by 121:30, we already had a little more than 10,000 steps in.  LOL

What was the TSV price of this?  It's still listed on sale for $129.96.

@LipstickdivaThey were $119 plus you got a $10 QVC gift card.  So it was only a savings of $20, but I appreciated the easy pay too.

Edit: I see there is now a $10.47 shipping charge.  Yesterday it was free shipping.  So that was more like a $30 savings.  That is rediculous shipping for such a light weight item.

Thanks.  Yes I noticed yesterday the $10.47 s/h charge that was free.  They are out of their mind charging that much money for such an item.

I have the Fitbit Charge 2 that my son bought me for my birthday in December. I love it and really is a motivator. It keeps track of my steps, the intensity of your workout, your calories for the day ( you can regulate the amount according to the intensity) and weight. It buzzes to remind you to get up and take more steps. If you take 250 steps every hour for 8 hours you get a Boom recognizing your steps. The fitbit buzzes and gives you stars when you reach 10,000 steps. Also, it sends you an e-mail to tell you how you have done for the week. Also, it tracks your sleep. My progress has been great. I am motivated to take 10,000 steps a day. This is a great deal.
