Re: First Aid Beauty TSV - June 20, 2023

I'll pass and buy the cream in a store. I can't imagine what it would be like anyway after sitting in a hot hot UPS truck all day with our temps pushing 110.

Seems quite expensive for a watered down cream into a lotion.

I heard Shawn say the cream could be used from forehead to toe.  Then when talking about this lotion, she said the lotion could be used from chin to toe.  She said that twice in the TSV hour show,  So you cannot use this lotion version on your face, apparently.

THis morning the FAB host said you CAN use it on your face.

To me the price is shocking. Nearly $30 (after taxes) for only 10 ounces of lotion. Insane.

Lotions are 70-80% water.

No thanks.  I used to love the old style cream in the jar.  I will stick to my Beekman and Nakery which is just as good and they offer better deals,  I have enough stocked up to last me a year at least.  I do not like lotion in a pump.  Too much waste when you get towards the end.  With a jar you get to every last bit.

@bargainsgirl  Thank you for that clarification.  I guess the FAB rep didn't want to expound on it to seemingly contradict Shawn on air.  Shawn made such a point of distinction about it.

I'm sure it is good but the price is ridiculous. I have used the cream for years and it works but the price has gone up so much and there are other lotions that work for me too. I do not have severely dry skin or skin issues in general; maybe if I did I would splurge. I love and use Josie's Milk body serum and it has made my skin so soft. I buy when it's a good price.

Are they kidding?  $2.70 per ounce for a water downed version of the original is out of control.  No more FAB for me.

FAB company was sold to P&G in 2018. Was that when FAB prices went up? I'm guessing 'yes'.

Nothing really good ever stays that way very long... They either cheapen the product or raise the prices or both- Arghhh..🙄
