Seeing these lovely but costly diamonds made it easy for me to indulge in a new denim jacket.

I thought (read here on the forum) that tennis bracelets were no longer "in".

I think a tennis bracelet is timeless, and will never go out of style.
Even if it ever did, I will always wear mine, and love it.

In this day and age of high price tags for absolutely everything, it baffles me as to why at least from all I see, why online shopping channels sell jewelry items priced into the thousands of dollars. Yes most of these pieces are lovely, yes most of us love beautiful jewelry items, diamonds at the top of their like, love, desire, want.
Who buys these pieces though? I do know there are people who have money, who are wealthy, who can afford (easily or maybe not so much) to buy diamonds of these prices but many of us here simply cannot. So again, who buys these? Who can invest in such extravegant jewelry pieces? And to buy from websites sight unseen? People who can afford these items are not going to buy from a website without seeing them in person before laying down thousands of dollars for them.
Again I continue to be baffled by these high ticket items.Years ago it was a holiday tradition for QVC to surprise us with offerings of great jewelry pieces that we like me could afford to pick up for ourselves. Well obviously not anymore. Every year I'd treat myself to this special offering from years ago. Granted they're not much carat weight to those items, I get that.
And what's up with all of these businesses now creating lab grown diamonds? I'm baffled that lab grown stones are as expensive or more than diamonds dug out from Mother Earth. I'll stop now. No need to reply or comment.

I think a piece of jewelry is always in if you like and enjoy it. If it is in your budget...I say for for it

natural diamonds have gone the way similiar to real fur .
Lab created are more " ethical " since child labor is not involved as in mining natural diamonds .
However, will these lab created diamonds hold value. Atleast the company on SHOPHq that sell " Peace " lab created diamonds say they will buy back any of their pieces after 10 yrs , guess as long as they stay in business.
On another note , there was a special on TV earlier this year where an insider said that the "natural diamond market " has been interjected with lab grown diamonds , so one does not know if you are buying a real diamond of higher clarity or lab grown unless it is checked with a specific machine that can tell the difference .

I would never have the confidence to buy expensive diamond jewelry this way, sight unseen. Diamonique is one thing Real diamonds, I'm going to a local jeweler.

This bracelet is not attractive to me.
I have several tennis bracelets that I will continue to wear whether they are in style or not. The public doesn't dictate what I wear.
