How stupid of me for clicking on the TSV video while eating breakfast. The first thing I saw was someone filing dead skin off their heal as it showered down like snow! $40 for those files. Seriously? Now that's just getting ridiculous! Anyway, happy mothers day friends!

I exfoliate my feet almost every day. Never found the dead skin to be offensive? I love the way my feel feel afterwards, when I've also slathered them with foot cream.

So how else would they demonstrate how effective they are? I guess they could just say they work, let everyone buy them and then deal with returns, if customers decide they're not exactly what they want.

Or maybe an animated video so we don't have to see "real life"? Cartoon characters?

People are so squeamish about everything these days.

BTW, @Sweet Kitties have you priced high quality files lately? (Not cheap knockoffs?) That's not a bad price for the set of 4.

@Sweet Kitties I don't find the dead skin offensive. After all, they are selling an item to remove dead skin so it shows it's working.

As for the price, my last pedicure cost $30. This TSV would pay for itself many times over if used instead of going to the nail salon.

It's important to have good files and I find these work really well. Living in warmer climates, I wear a lot of sandal type shoes year round. I file my heels at least once a week. It's not icky to me.

@elated - Not the same thing. That set is normal glass files.

The set of 3, 821-697, is similar to the TSV. Only a set of 3 for $40.95.

You can get a similar glass file for much less on Amazon.....plus no shipping if you have Prime!

ETA: I decided it was time to get myself one and purchased something on Amazon. It has a handle with a rope to hang in the shower which is where I plan on scrubbing my feet.
