Re: Files, dead skin, equals ICKY, ICKY & YUCKY too!

I have the micro plane foot files QVC sold years ago.  I love them.

I have never used the glass foot file.  If anyone uses one, how do you like them?

I prefer a diamond file. Diamonds are harder than glass and will do a better filing job than will glass....for feet.

These are great!!! I have a smaller set that I got from QVC, more than 10 years ago.  And they still work on my nails, just fine,  How many products can you say that about?  I ordered this set because the foot file will be bigger that the files I already have.  Your feet will feel wonderful after using this.  I have tried ALL the feet products on the market, to smooth my feet, and this is the real deal!  I plan on keeping one set and giving my sister the other.  This product will not damage your feet or require addition refill items (or batteries) and is easy to sanitize!

What's wrong with using a pumice stone?  A lot cheaper I would think and does the job???

kaydee50, Bacteria can grow on pumice stones.  They need to be cleaned and sanitized after every use.  Plus, they need to be replaced after3-4 weeks use.

HSN had a similar TSV for $29.95.  I think it was a week or so ago.

@elated - Not the same thing.  That set is normal glass files.

The set of 3, 821-697, is similar to the TSV.  Only a set of 3 for $40.95.

Both sets are laser etched glass....same thing.

@SilleeMee - It seems to me that they're saying these are not the same.  I have glass nail files made in the Czech Republic that I bought from QVC years ago (still going strong).

The reference to nano laser etching implies a different technology used to produce these.  (I do realize they are both glass files, however, nano glass is different.)

But what do I know?  If someone is happy with either set, that's all that matters.

I bought a set of these glass etched files a couple of years ago and they work very, very, well.  My late mom was visiting, used mine and she fell in love with them also.  I sent her a set and both she and my stepfather became big fans.
