@beach-mom The Foreo Luna Mini is pretty gentle on my sensitive oily/combo skin and one side of it has harder bristles for exfoliatiing and the other side of the mini has softer bristles for sensitive skin and a gentler form of cleansing. Another great hing for removing makeup or cleaning sensitive skin is the Makeup Eraser type washcloths that use water and completely take off makeup- I love those and they're cost effective and excellent for ym sensitive skin.
Thank you for asking about the police academy . I took the fitness test about 2 weeks ago and did my absolute best with great scores on pushups, situps, grip test and the wall climb obstacle course and passed, but unfortunately whoever computed the scores wrote that I failed and have to do it over again, even though the emailed score numbers show I passed. I've emailed HR a friendly question/note about how I should've passed based on my scores and all I got back in response was an impersonal pre-typed email not answering my question and telling me to retake the test in two weeks. I don't want to have to retake this test if I know I passed, so I'm trying ro clear this up before then.
When I ran to jump and get over the 5 foot wall, I jumped and ran with such force that I slammed my sternum and ribs into the plywood really hard at the top of the wall and had to keep going because every milisecond counts in the score. I'm not 100% recovered from the bruises and bone pain I sustained from that smack and now have to potentially ramp up my training even more and ignore my injuries to prepare for a retest in 2 weeks that I don't feel I should have ot do since I passed. I'll keep you posted- I felt defeated and confused and now I'm just trying to get answers. Thank you very much for your support and for asking- I know that I passed regardless of what the incorrect email says, so I'm proud of myself .

@SportyShorty07 - I'm so sorry you're going through this! It seems since you have the actual emails they could see THEY'RE the ones who made a big mistake. It sounds too like the email you received back from them was an automated one. You would think with the seriousness of this an actual person could help you. I hope you can reach out to someone else in the department.
I'm sorry about your injury too. I hope you are pain free in two weeks to retest, although I hope something else happens and you won't have to retest!
I will be waiting to hear how everything goes. I'm a person of faith, and I will be praying for you.
ETA: TY for the info about the FOREO. I have the cloths you're talking about. I use them to clean jewelry. I've never tried them for their actual purpose! But I will try them now!

@beach-mom They definitely made a mistake with the email and you're so right about the response from them being automated- it just didn't seem like it was typed with me in mind. I tried to get a hold of my recruiter and left him a message on Friday, so I'll try making some calls this week. Its strange, because I met the woman I emailed two weeks ago during the day of the fitness test and she seemed excited to meet me and nice, so its odd that she wouldn't want to look into this or answer my question herself. I'll let you know how it goes!
My collagen powder supplement, rest and hydration has really helped so far in dealing with the pain- and I have a high pain tolerance so I know I really blasted myself against that plywood. Thank you sp very much for your keeping me in your thoughts and prayers and thank you for all of your support .
The makeup eraser washcloths are perfect for makeup removal and that is so clever that you use them to polish your jewelry! I didn't even know that they could do that- thank you for that tip, I'll try it tomorrow!

Foreo cleansing tools are way overpriced and the app is totally unnecessary for the purpose of this type of device. There are many inexpensive rechargeable silicone cleansing devices on Amazon, in assorted shapes and colors, and with multiple speeds, that work quite well and hold their charge for serveral months at a time. I use one daily. Prices vary between $12-$25, in most cases. Make sure the listing says rechargeable. Also, be advised that silicone cleansing devices are not intended to be used with cleansing oils unless you commit to thoroughly washing it with hot soapy water afterwards. If you don't, the oil will break down the silicone bristles.

This! I bought a dupe on Amazon in 2016 for $15.99, and it's still going strong. Everyone is different, but I don't understand why anyone would buy the name brand device.

@1Professor wrote:Why, I wonder, does this device HAVE to be used with an app??
From the TSV:
How do I use it: Download app and add the tool.
This seems unnecessary. Must be a benefit to the vendor?
Glad to be enlightened.
@1Professor The vendor said downloading the app activates the warranty. I bought this last time it was a TSV and I didn't need to download an app. I would would not be interested in this product if I had to provide personal information. It's unnecessary for sure.

I bought my first Foreo Luna from Hsn over five years ago when it first came to the network. I loved it but it lasted only for about a year then died. I found a dupe for it on Amazon and that one cost way less than the Foreo and worked just the same.
Today I'm using the Spade by PopSonic b/c that one has a handle on it and it's easier for me to hold.

Seriously? An app to clean your face is so silly. Just another way of getting your info. How many apps do we need?

@SportyShorty07 Ouch, That hurts. But Brava to you
