I own one but wonder if it's good for my carpet. I consider myself a clean person and can't get over how much stuff is in the canister when I empty it. We don't have pets so I'm wondering if it is pulling out the fibers in my carpeting. My son said when they bought new carpeting recently they were told by one company that the warranty would not be honored if they used a Dyson vacuum so that's what makes me wonder about it.
