I can't imagine paying over $500 for a styler/dryer.  I use a $30 dryer and a $50 heated round curling brush and I often receive compliments on my hair.   I don't know what this product offers to justify such a price.

@scrapperlisa THANK YOU for mentioning that code!  I didn't know if it would work for me or not, but I put it in during checkout, and paid $479 instead of $519!  I don't know how I qualified  as a "select customer", but maybe I got an e-mail and just deleted it and forgot about it.  After reading your post, though, I figured it couldn't hurt to try, and it worked!

I am pinning my hopes on the conical wand producing some curl in my fine, straight hair, and if it doesn't, I'll send it back.  The only way to know if it works, though, is to try it, so I will.

I also think the Dyson is crazy expensive.  I did buy a Shark dryer from HSN a few years ago and it is a great dryer. 

It also wasn't cheap but was on sale for around $300.00 It came with several attachements and I hope it lasts for many years!!

I got mine last year from Q, love it can get my hair dry and styled in a fraction of the time 

many things on Q that I would consider a waste of money,  all those Christmas decorations , VPH endless dust catchers

I too feel that people who can afford to have the right to buy whatever they want because that’s their business. And it doesn’t make them crazy to do so because everyone makes their own choices as to what’s important to them. This forum has a lot of haters that have nothing better to do than insult someone else’s choices. Just shows that they’re miserable because happy people spread love and joy, not disdain and judgement. And I said what I said and meant every word.
