Seriously, I use a $30 mini BabyLiss to dry my hair, and it's fabulous, and stows away easily. I have the Calista airglide and Fauxblo plus a couple of irons, so those meet all my hair styling needs, spent around $200. I "could" get this, if I wanted it- But honestly, it goes against my principles to spend that much on a hair tool, when what I own works well!! Pass.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones.  I step into the shower wash my hair.  Then apply a hair mousse and then spray my hair with hairspray.  Basically I walk around with wet hair and run my hands through it and have curls galore when it dries on its own.  I don't even own a hair dryer or curling iron.

I cannot imagine anything would be worth the price of the SV.   In my case no way.

I was thinking about getting this today since it's my birthday but I don't really need to spend the right now. Although, it may be worth it, $600 is still a lot of money for a hair tool, no matter who you are.

@GenXmuse , just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday; I hope you are enjoying your special day.

@GenXmuse , I try to be in my posts, although there are times when I need to sit on my hands after reading some of them.  However, you're the kind of poster I'd like to meet in real life.

If you were going to buy the Air Wrap or the hair dryer....which would you purchase?

@phoenixbrd

I have the hair dryer, but not the Air Wrap.  However, my hairdresser has both (she is the one who turned me on to the hairdryer) and she used the Air Wrap on me once and honestly, because of my natural curl, I prefer the diffuser on the hair dryer.
