Yep, I've had this problem several times, too. It is hard when you don't have a helping hand.

I've had to tackle large boxes on my front porch. No, not to try to pick them up, but to cut them open. Once out of the gigantic, heavy boxes, I can usually bring the item in myself, with minimal difficulty. I even got a treadmill, walking pad into my house that way. That was a huge box and awkward item. But, I was really sweating by the end of that task.

What's the update, @Kachina624 ?  Were you able to get the lantern into the house?  Hope so.

I appreciate items being well packaged even if opening them requires some effort.

My Duraflame TSV lantern heater arrived late today.  Good grief, the box looks like a piano crate and it's HEAVY.  I couldn't lift it, could scarcely scoot it.  Couldn't get it in the house.  Almost dark so had to leave it outside.  Why didn't someone mention how cumbersome this thing is?  Looks like a big mistake.

Were you able to get it inside?  Hope so you probably have other Duraflame and know they can't be beat.  Except when opening them!
