Re: Dr. Scholl’s TSV - March 22, 2024

Glad someone on hear wrote my thoughts. I checked on here to see if people are in "shock" with the sign of the times cheap shoes.
I still have the white LEATHER and lime green LEATHER ones from here, gifts from my mom🤗. Love wearing them. Just had to get the under heal part replaced years back and the new shoe repair guy was so not like my guy (who passed away) back in the day. I told him make sure the part is white to go with rest of bottom, he didn't! It was a tan part. So I put white out on them! My old
repair guy made sure everything was fixed accurately, he would've been appalled!

Anyway, as I mentioned my former shoe guy, he complained decades back shoes can't be fixed anymore because of how cheap they make them with the new type of materials. He'd be rolling in his grave if he saw these. Down the road they will crack just like ones of that material. I had to throw out white mountain navy suede clogs as the heels were cracking like stale bread and were breaking apart. So sad and I was so mad!!! So, surprised Dr Scholls has followed the cheap materials route. I will only buy well made shoes anymore, meaning I fell for the cheap material shoes these past decades, I'm mindful now of not getting those type of materials shoes/thongs etc!

Thanks again for writing my thoughts!

Re: Dr. Scholl’s TSV - March 22, 2024

Dr. Scholls came back for a brief time in the mid 2000s. They were a lot like the originals, wood, leather, cute sherbet, like colors. But, they were selling them at places like Nordstrom. Very cute, but my feet were much younger then! I don’t think the straps now would fit well over my bunions!Smiley Happy

I remember clunking around in my Dr. Scholl's. My older sister had them

and I needed a pair. I got a pair in blue but not interested in the TSV.

Very cute but my tired 70 year old feet could never wear these now.  That's all I wore during my college years.  Don't know how I ever walked in those wooden shoes LOL!!

I am tempted even though I need another pair of shoes like a hole in my head.  They are so stinking cute.   Now what color do I choose.   Down to blue or the red.  😉

I noticed the BIG Deal Miz Mooz sandals have almost the identical bottoms as the Dr Scholls TSV.
