nope, it's just like if you exfoliate with a manual granual product or shaver.

In fact that's a myth - maybe some have come to truly believe this as I used to with some shaving face areas and maybe some did get a shadow/stubble with shaving but unless you have deep manly hair this could happen...just a guess! not with me. But peach fuzz/upper lip is not notoriously thick with most all women.
