Re: Denim & Company TSV - May 6, 2023

The dress made the thin model's rear look really big and clung to her rear too much.

It didn't make the plus size model's look big.

I'm sick of so many knits. I prefer wovens.

Just one more dress that looks like a nightgown and is NOT flattering!!  I continue to save $$$.  Looks bad on everyone unless you are ready for bed.

First I have to say I rarely buy Denim & Co. Their styles are usually too boxy for me. I'm not purchasing for a couple reasons. It still looks boxy and won't fit my body type and it has linen. No matter how much linen or the quality, it is itchy to my skin.

I do think the prints are very nice and I appreciate they have the options of regular, petite and tall. I think it is a good TSV for the D&C lovers though.

@cjm61    It's certainly not boxy on Kerstin, but is indeed very shapely.  I'm not interested in any "naturals" in clothing.  I want no-fuss, easy care.

When we were speculating about the TSV several days ago, my guess was a sleeveless tank dress.  I missed the linen part though.  Some Q buyer is really hung up on this style now and so many people can't or won't wear it for various reasons.  It's become the post-pandemic trend, like pajamas were.

I'm not sure I'd look good in it, but I at least it's not a tiered/ruffle dress that is everywhere this season.

Kind of blah for a TSV "dress".....I'd call this a shift.  And seam down the back?  I'll pass. Cat Indifferent

I'm 5"1" and slender. A long dress, especially the way Q clothing  is cut large, would make me look shorter.

It is a lovely cute casual dress for summer days!  I love it.  I would be delighted to wear something like this and happy to be seen.

I have several from years past or would have bought a couple of these.  I do not worry about something like this being boxy or not flattering--I dress to look nice and be comfortable and happy and this fills the bill nicely!

I've been thinking about the neutral zebra pattern all day.  They still had my size so I just ordered that one too.  I appreciate talls being offered.

I received my two dresses. The material is somewhat cheap and thin.  The pockets stick out like a sore thumb due the layering of the fabric and the dress overall is see through, - mostly the zebra one, but I'm not keeping the other one either.  Theirs no way they're worth $50 a piece.
