I looked at the acutal garment mesurment . I am usally an xl in DC. the bust mesurment is 47" . That is the actual measurment of my bust. I looked at the 1x and it is only 47.5".

I am wondering if this dress will work on a larger bust. I am hoping the mesurments are wrong.

i think since they have added 4x and 5x, the measurements have been shaved down, in the lower sizes. i have been a 2x,per chest measurements, for years and recently i'm a 3x because of the adjusted measurements.

I'm 71, 5'4" and fluffier than you are and it's a pass for me. if anything, i'd try the black.  Maybe see how plus models look.

@livein kindness    The bust measurement on sleeveless garments is always smaller because an inset sleeve takes up space.  I'd order my usual D&C size.
