I totally agree...it has been so frustrating not knowing if the post is new or not....we shouldn't have to click on it to find out....and even then its not always written...or its so light i can't read it....

I asked about that weeks ago, and they said they were working on it. I won't hold my breath.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

Yes. Yes. Yes.   They always answer these questions by telling us to change our preferences to ignore relarive dates.  This has nothing to do with the fact that the date that the "author" started the post is not there on the main page!  Really frustrating because people are dragging up a lot of really OLD threads.
