I have wasps and hornets that would love to have something like that bench...no kidding.

Sounds good but no...I'd have to do that a couple times a month & the nests don't spray off, I have to use a stick & a scrub brush to get rid of the sticky mess....they love to build in corners & the open legs & arms are perfect for that. Ugh.

@LizzieInSRQ

Seriously, don't delay the great pleasure of giving this gift until August.  Come August, you can give him a small token gift and say how happy you are that the bench worked for him.  I don't believe in waiting.

@Another new name Sue your words are very tempting...I think I might do just that!  Thank you.

One of the best things I have ever bought on QVC. Have had it for years. It is on our deck and we never take it down. Sturdy and durable.

I purchased one of these maybe 8 or more years ago. I absolutely love it. It stays out on my porch through every type of weather and each spring/summer I hose it off so I can use it again. I purchased a bench cushion from Target that I put on it when I am sitting on it. In the summer my son and his friends convert it to a 1/2 picnic table and use it to make slime, eat ice cream, water ice, etc. on it.
