Re: Clarks TSV - August 27, 2024

Due to having peripheral neuropathy, I have to wear solid shoes - no clogs, flip flops or slides.  Even my slippers have to have to fit like a shoe and have a solid sole.  I was wondering about these as slippers/house shoes when I first saw them.

The solids are drab but I kinda like the leopard.

I don't care for Clarks.  They just don't fit my feet the way I like.

Re Amy Oselkin, I used to think she and Susan Graver's rep were the same person, they looked so much alike.

Also I don't think the TSV is flattering at all. Mary looks positively dowdy wearing the shoes in a dress.

Re: Clarks TSV - August 27, 2024

Years ago, I bought my Clarks from Neiman Marcus. They were one of the few stores that carried them. They were the highest quality and super comfortable. The quality and style has steadily declined, but I can say that about almost every shoe brand out there. This shoe is not ugly to me, but what we call a "sensible" shoe. I am in need of replacing my black leather loafter-style shoe that is really needing to be tossed....but this TSV is not the one. I do like they are leather and the price is right; I am sure these will be perfect for lots of customers. I would avoid the metallic synthetic one as I know it will stretch out fast and the finisih will peel or deteriorate quickly also. I hope everyone who orders them loves them. Getting new shoes is still exciting to me almost like it was when I was a little girl!

I bought the leather loafer TSV  about this time last year.  Wore them 3-4 times and stored in the closet.  Weeks later I pulled them out and was amazed to see they'd faded and looked scratched.  I'm embarrassed to wear them again, they look worn and awful.

No more Clark's shoes for me.

I have had problems with the rubber soles.  They crumble up and break into pieces.

i kept finding small rubber pieces on my closet floor and couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

One day, I grabbed a pair of Clark's from the shelf and on one shoe, the sole was almost completely gone.  On the other shoe, the sole crumbled in my hands.

The shoes were a few years old, but not that old!  I have had soles on their sandals crumble too.

I have Clark's  that are older and are just fine.  Their quality is not what it used to be.

@beach-mom An easy pass for me.   Enjoy and wear in good health for those who purchase.

A616969, loafer, should have been the tsv from Clark's. They would have sold a ton more. I would have bought that loafer anyday over the tsv they chose even if it cost more.

Old lady, nursing home, over 80.  Wow nice group of people here.  So easy to insult the most vulnerable isn't it?
