Re: Clarisonic Brush Head Replacement Reminder

Where did you see this?  I have a clarasonic but I don't need brushes often.  I cannot use it everyday as it makes my skin sore.  I normally don't wear any makeup on my face.  I don't really need it daily.  I imagine that it is like a toothbrush.  They need replaced every few months.

Yes, you're suppose to replace the brush heads every 3 months.

But the Product Description says that this Mia2 comes with a "Brush Head Replacement Reminder." I have been using a Mia2 for three years and I love it, but I would also love to have one that auto-reminds me to change the brush. I'm a little absent minded... Woman Wink

So my question is, how does the new Mia2 do that?

I'm guessing it will make some sort of beeping sound to remind you to change the head.

......I just looked at their website.  They have Smart Profile brush heads on there.  This is what they do:

"Smart Brush Heads are programmed to illuminate the Replace Brush Head indicator when it is time to replace the brush head."

So maybe that is what they will do?

Re: Clarisonic Brush Head Replacement Reminder

I'll have to watch the presentation again but I'm assuming there's a beep or a light that blinks. I alternate my brush heads so I get more than the three month limit--more like four or five depending on my routine. I just change mine out when the brush head starts to look off color.  In the summer months I'm changing them more often because of heavy sunscreen, etc. If I'm not wearing makeup for weeks at a time they seem to go a few weeks longer and still look good.

Re: Clarisonic Brush Head Replacement Reminder

I realize this question was asked awhile ago, but to answer: the brush head replacement indication on the Mia 1 and Mia 2 is as follows:

After 180 minutes of usuage a decending tone will play and the lights surrounding the power button will illuminate to indicate it's time to change the brush head. To reset the brush head indicator, press the power button for 3 seconds. An ascending tone will play and the lights surrounding the power button will illuminate to indicate the reset has occured.

This was included on the instructions that came with my  Mia 2, but not on the directions on the Clarisonic web site.

Hope this helps Smiley Happy
