I don't see any reviews for these hot rollers. Anyways, I've tried two Calista and neither worked for me so I'm done with Calista.

Even though I initially dissed this TSV as being old-fashioned, I've been kinda intrigued by it today. My long hair used to look great in hot rollers, but it seemed to take a lot of time and trouble. I checked Amazon, and couldn't find any other hot rollers with Calista's very long, long-hair rollers. LOVE the long length rollers! They also came with cheap j-clips and not Calista's much-easier-to-use butterfly clips. However, most of the Amazon hot rollers were way, way cheaper and had varied diameters of rollers. The Q disappearing bad reviews concerns me. For a hot minute I considered getting the TSV, but decided against it. If I get any, it might be Conair or some other popular well-tested brand.

I'm also superstitious, because the only time I ever ordered Calista was the TrianglePro TSV years ago, but never received it because it burned up in the warehouse fire. Don't want to jinx QVC by ordering Calista and having something else burn down. With my luck, the roller might explode and burn down my own home! lol. If you get it, enjoy some gorgeous hair and let us know how you like it.

i think there are a lot of negative reviews because of operator error. they just need to try it a few time and find what's right for them. People try once and it doesn't look like it does on tv, so they give it a negative review. i've had good luck with her tools.

Having the hot rollers catch fire, having them burning fingers, having the roller set not working after a few days is not user error.

It sounds like a manufacturer error.

Really, hot rollers have been around since the 70's. They are easy to use and shouldn't inflict harm to anyone.

I have mine that must be about 50 years old...they never burned me or caught fire. They also have metal clips, not cheap plastic clips that break and don't hold tight.

These look like an accident looking for a place to happen. I sure hope they got the problems fixed.

Regarding Amy's hair, we're so used to seeing her wavy piece-y fashionable bedhead look, so her hot roller look is dramatically different and beautiful in a different way. However I think her normal look is much more casual and youthful. Her hot roller look is professional boardroom or holiday event look. I prefer her normal tousled look. She's such a pretty lady that she looks great with any hairdo though.
