Re: Calista TSV - December 13, 2024

I feel like I'm in a time warp and back in the 1970s or 80s looking at this TSV. I understand its technology is more advanced, but... Do people really still curl their hair this way?

I've been using electric curlers for over 40 years.  The easiest way to curl your hair.  And they are making a comeback.

Yes @scrapperlisa people still use hot rollers including me, though i don't use my very old Conair rollers very often. If you have fine straight hair like me you get it. Hot rollers are the only way I can achieve any body or curl, though with my hard to curl hair I admit the curls don't hold all day but I maintain at least a little body.  Ceramic rollers work best for my type hair.  I don't know what these are.  Best part about rollers is you can multi task while curling your hair,

Maria McCool's daughter has beautiful thick hair and her hair looked great after using the rollers.

@Biftu   I just started growing out my hair to a Bob from a very short hair cut and as it gets longer it gets flatter and rollers really help with body and lift.  Iam very intrigued by this TSV.  I am probably going to try them

btw. These are ceramic rollers.  I love the results I'm seeing on all the models

Re: Calista TSV - December 13, 2024

I still have my vintage hot rollers.  I just saw them in my closet last week.  I forgot about them.

I just read the reviews on the Calista hot rollers and the negative  reviews are twice the amount of the positive ones.  I wonder why they're a TSV if they bombed when sold before.

Maybe there is a warehouse full of these unwanted rollers and QVC needs to move them out.

Okay, thanks everybody for letting me know that hot rollers are still popular. I figured that with so many other options out there, folks had moved away from this, but I guess not. If it works great, why change? Plus everything eventually comes back in style, even beauty tools.

There's a one-time-use promo code good for Fri 12/13 only for $15 off a $60 order. The code is JOY15

You might want to read the reviews. This product has 43 - 1 stars. One customer said one of her rollers exploded. She even has a picture.
