How much oil do you use and what can do you recommend ?

Late last night I thought I heard you need 2.75 gallons of oil, and peanut oil was recommended......

You are correct @nana59! You can use canola, vegetable or soybean oil as well. We prefer the peanut oil, but if you prefer another that is fine.
