It's no wonder that the OP has given up on this thread. They purchased an item, received a different color, put it together because they didn't notice the color difference and are being bashed because they don't want to keep it and need some help to return it.
It's not a small appliance or something you can stick in a drawer or cabinet. It's a piece of furniture that they wanted for their living room. Let's give them a break and be a little more understanding!

The color is on the large pieces to which everything else attaches. It is hardly a matter of taking the time to put it all together and then "suddenly" realizing that it's blue not black.

@Linmo you are incredibly understanding. I don't see how anyone could suddenly discover the color was wrong. That's the first thing I would have seen.
