Make sure you read the complaints filed to BBB online.

I had the original of this.  I threw it out after a couple months.  Worthless.

I just read those reviews too. This product doesn't seem to last long or work as advertised.

I found the original to be complete garbage.

The first use it wouldn’t even work with the 4 ice cubes I put in it and it took me 45 minutes to get the lid off after that first blend session.

It’s very low capacity and not enough power to handle even simple tasks.

Junk hiding behind fun colors.

I just posted my thoughts in the other thread, but to summarize, I found a great use for my original BlendJet.  I make omelets often and it does a great job beating the eggs.  My omelets turn out so light and fluffy now. I haven't had any problems with it.  I was disappointed in the capacity but am happy that the new version is larger and the motor is stronger.  I am planning to get today's TSV.  I will continue to use the original for eggs and mixed drinks once the summer season is underway.  Looking forward to getting the new one.

I bought a different brand from Walmart last year to make drinks with ice and I love it. It was 14.00 I think.

It is electric but wow it crushes the ice really well.

I would recomend a Ninja to anyone that wants a powerhouse of a product and so easy to clean. I have a vitamix and i prefer the ninja for everyday use. I do realize the Blendjet is portable though.
