I was going to buy one of those kind of metal hoses so I did some research. After reading about them, there seems to be an innate design flaw in their construction where the outer metal surrounding the plastic interior starts to separate and then the hose starts to crack, split and leak. In the end I did not buy a metal hose.

Beware I bought two of these 2 years ago. One leaks badly right in the middle.  Last year I purchased the Fireman's nozzle. It won't work with this hose because you need a 5/8" diameter hose, which they should acknowledge during the presentation.  Now I have a hose & a nozzle I can't use.
