I need a good mst in front of my door outside. Does anyone know if these are as good as the claims.

I was going to post that I did not recommend this because of the problems I had with this item last year. If it rained, it held the water forever. You had to flip it over and leave it upside down for a day or two to get it dry. I listened to the beginning of the presentation and they said that problem was fixed with this version.

@santorini Thank you. I decided to look up the prior reviews and I was concerned with the negatives, but I did hear in the full presentation that they addressed the smell and it not lying flat. I plan to use it outside rather than inside so I think the smell issue if it still exists, will dissipate pretty quickly. I hate to ask guests or whoever cones in the house to take their shoes off so maybe this will help. I always remove my shoes before I come in the house or leave them right at the door on the inside and change into my house shoes but it's difficult to ask most people to do that.

Not a fan of any of the choices. Watching the presentation this morning, it doesn't look very heavy to me. I've not had much luck with this brand and their hoses so I'll keep looking. Can't remember the name of the mats I used to get on QVC but they worked very well for me; I still have one at my back door that's very old and still works fine. I'd like to freshen up my front door with a new one but will pass on these.

Definately read the reviews as many negatives. It doesn't sound like a good outside mat as collects water. Supposedly the smell and laying flat has been improved?

Consider the LL Bean Waterhog Mat. The best.

I like the patterns but it does not appear to be very heavy to be an outdoor mat. Also, looked like the sides curled up a bit in one of the views on set. Pass for me; I may splurge and get a mat from LLBean. They last forever and are rugged.

@CJC Yes! I totally agree and own several of them.
