Re: Belle by Kim Gravel TSV - May 25, 2024

I decided not to purchase it looks tight and uncomfortable on all of them.
Talia's shorts were huge on her. I didn't order anything which is very rare for me when it comes to Kim's line.

Re: Belle by Kim Gravel TSV - May 25, 2024

I was in the chat tonight and it seems fitted thru the waist and would go up a size if you have a tummy. At least it's cotton and modal but no stretch.

I don't wear 3/4 sleeves so it's a pass for me.

It's not poly!

It was also a little low cut for me and the zipper seemed odd to me.

Love the colors.

I like the black one. I have several meetings to attend this summer and that would work with my black linen slacks. The attire is "snappy" casual.  We all laugh when we hear that term. My colleagues and I chuckle every time we hear that phrase.

The prints and colors are pretty but I will not be buying today.  I already have enough of her beach/tropical/cruise "look".  A few pieces in the tropical theme goes a long way and is too limiting for me.  My summer season is short.  We have lots of lakes where I live but none are tropical.  It would be nice if she would include summer prints that reflected other parts of the U.S. and not just the cruise look.

I need a couple more tops, but after watching the presentation I'm passing, looks too tight for me. Don't want to size up because it will be too long. Really not crazy about any of the prints. Coral and Paisley if I had to choose.

You know what? Lots of sales out there this weekend, so I'll find something. Woman Wink

It's nice, but I already have one of her "signature zip" tops from long ago, and I have never liked how the neckline  falls on me- It pulls oddly when the zippper is at the right spot.
And I think the garment measurements are off because it def looks like tunic length on tall models, so too long for this short girl-  But I like a few of the prints, so enjoy if you get it!

It's interesting. I haven't liked the larger colorful prints shown this season but these are the exception! I love all of them especially the lemon and blue. The neckline, smile hem and three quarter sleeves check all of my boxes. I've looked at the garment measurements and have ordered in medium and large. So one will be going back for a $7 try on fee. It's worth it to get the best fit. I'm landlocked and won't see a beach this season but who cares! These prints and colors make me smile.

I'm watching beautiful Leah in the TSV now.  She took the denim topper off, and you can see her fully in the top.

As others have said, it seems to be snug around the middle, not just on Leah, but a couple of the models last night as well.

I love the black & white Italian city scape print very much. I wish she could do something different with that print (as long as it's not the ubiquitous poncho top).  She has done that zipper pull style top over & over, and I'm still not interested.  The tassle does not disguise that it's the same  style top.

For all who purchase and love it -- enjoy it.

It's cute, but I don't like the zipper. I would belt it. I'm not sure if a belt would work though. Sometimes when a top is belted it looks bunched up.
