Re: Beekman Happy Place Liquid Detergent at HSN

I could be wrong but I thought they said this was a new product.  They previously offered laundry soap in a powder.

For me, I would never be interested in a 256 load size.  Unless you're a Costco shopper and typically buy sizes this large or have a family with kids, I can't fathom using a size this big.  I'd be interested to hear what they say the shelf life is once opened.

Just the thought of washing my clothes with milk gags me.

It reminds me of formula stained baby clothes I had to soak to get cleaned.  Ohhh. That gross milky wash water.  No thanks.

I don't like their detergent but as far as the comment about not using that much unless you're a family of 4, I had to laugh at that.  I work full time and also work out every day.  I do laundy every day - sometimes 2 loads - so I would go through that very quickly.

I wasn't happy with their cleaning products so I'd be hesitant to buy laundry detergent from them.

The company that makes both the liquid and power soaps is BnN (Brook and Nora). I've had very good luck with the liquid. I have soft water & it takes a very small amount. My clothes are soft without using a fabric softener. Whites are bright and stay that way. Towels are super absorbent. Cost is about the same as tide. There is no soap residue. If you want lots of suds to make you feel like it's cleaning, this isn't for you.

I used to buy the soap bars and some other Beekman products but I'm no longer interested in supporting them so it's an easy pass for me.

Well, I work full time and work out nearly every day and still can't imagine doing that much laundry!!  How can you possibly do 1-2 loads every day??
