I’ve heard it all-a sweater bring marketed as ‘making you feel safe’.

@ocookie totally agree. This whole BD show is ridiculous in my humble opinion.

LOL.  I know when I want to feel safe I always reach for a Barefoot Dreams sweater.  Oh wait, I don't own one.

Yes, odd selling tactic for sure!  I would never pay that much for a sweater - don't even spend that much on a coat!!

lol  I have one BFD sweater which now that I think about it always makes me feel wrapped in coziness.  Maybe that's a part of feeling safe?

I love my sweater -  wish I thought it would keep me safe from the things I fear most. but that's just not possible.  It's a sweater, so I'll settle for cozy.

Yes I agree that does sound silly, but...  Before I retired, my job was so stressful due to a hateful boss, and it actually did help relieve my stress when I wore my BD to work and wrapped myself up in it and stroked that incredible softness that is like a baby's blanket. I know that sounds crazy, but it worked for me.

Most offices don't allow "hoodies" in the workplace..........

@imtep the post isn’t knocking BD. It’s calling out their ridiculously over the top selling tactics.

I worked in a school office for 22 years, we were allowed to wear hoodies.  I don’t consider a cardigan with a hood a “hoodie” anyway.
