That would be pretty short for a robe.

Have several BD pieces that were a total miss, the shrug, the poncho- I never wear them.
This is not temping me in the least. Hate the length for me. And Useless if I can't close it. Saving $$ today!!

Re: Barefoot Dreams TSV - November 20, 2023

@Carolina925 i have several BFD cardigans but there are two colors I will never try again. One is faded rose because it washes me out and the other is pearl because it looks the most bathrobe-ish on me, and it does make me look heavier, especially in the CozyChic thick fabric.

I bought the black because it is a color they rarely offer, and is not some washed-out "Malibu" color like everything else. If they offered prettier, brighter colors like pink, purple, or red, I would buy more of them. I wish they had an evergreen color and a deep red for Christmas. I just don't understand this marketing strategy of limiting their color palette. SMH.

@scrapperlisa , thanks for your comment; you've talked me out of this purchase. I was wondering how the white may bring more attention to my rear bumper. Goodness knows I don't need to draw attention to that!

@haddon9

Looks like a Bath MAT.

There!! Fixed it for ya!!

MORE droopery drapery no buhhon, no zipper, no way to close, and made of fabric that will look like "matted cat fur" after one or a few washings...( my cat made a face!!)

These comments tell it all...many who bought, this brand, don't wear it.

Overpriced plastic material.

Bath MAT.

And I don't care if 80 THOUSAND people bought it....they will be here commenting in about a week ( or, in the reviews).

How many buh-honless, zipless, droopy, sure to mis-shape and mat cardigans can Q sell in a year? Jam your hands in those pockets made of leftover material once or twice and it'll be stretch city.

Must be many....next to boring outdated tech, endless vacuums, it seems it's the style du jour.

O well....at LEAST it's not....wait for it....SHERPA.

For those who say they don't care if it "doesn't close" what's the point? If all you're going to do it wear this schmatta around the house, just cut a slit in the middle of one of your throws and wear that instead. Droopery for 1/8 the price.

I LOVE your spelling of the "T"-less pronunciation of the word buTTon!!!!!!!  Love it!

Upon first glance of the TSV on the homepage, my first thought was old bathmat that needs washing to fluff it up again!  I'd never buy BD anything.  They've brainwashed everyone into thinking it's more than it is.  (P.S.  How would you spell the "D" -less version of bedroom?

Doesn't tempt me at all. Number one, no petites as usual, number two sleeves too bulky and would cover my hands (note the length of the sleeves in the model pictured at the top of this post) number three, first look and it reminded me of an old bathrobe or a shaggy bear. I wouldn't buy it if it were 39.99. Guess it appeals to some but not me.

@Lovevienna   I totally agree BD is overpriced and this particular cardigan is.   However, regarding  Macy's  selling sweaters for $39!they  do in fact carry $39.00 cashmere sweaters for $39 but they are usually one ply and they are see through.    I stopped shopping atMacy's a long time ago because they sell a lot of junk.

I don’t care for Cozy Chic. Had this been ultra lite, that black would have made a perfect office sweater. I don’t mind no closures as this would be an inside piece for me.
