Anyone order the BL TSV hanging baskets yet?

I did a pre order on them, and got two in the purple.

I bought some BL hanging baskets with petunias quite a few years ago, and they held up really well on my covered porch.

I hope these are as nice, but don't look nearly as full as the ones I got probably almost a decade ago.

Who else bought/is buying?

@Mominohio ~ I wanted to wait and see the presentation first but I'm pretty sure I'll end up getting one in white and one in yellow.  I have a few of their faux evergreen baskets and love them!  I hope these are just as nice!  Enjoy your new baskets!

I really like those. But looking at it I thought to myself, I am going to try to make my own. They have the metal hanging baskets, that tan inside base part, and artificial flowers and artifical greens at dollar rama for 1 dollar each. And I have timer lights to use. I realize it wont be weather proofed like that one but our porch is covered with a long roof so it will be fine. I want to do it with hydrangeas and some other flowers and greens. I bet I can make it for 1/3 the price. We shall see!

I love your creativity @Shorty2U, but if I tried that, my neighbors would be saying "How come Mrs. V is hanging her recyclables on the hook outside her front door instead of putting them in the blue bucket on the curb?". I'm afraid I neeed to rely on the professionals!

Please take a picture when you complete yours, and let us know how it worked out price wise.

@violann

Yep! Me too! (and you really made me laugh)

Mine would look like a nightmare. Either that, or I'd end up buying such expensive components it would be double the price of the BL ones.

Just arranged some pink tulips in a vase for the living room.  I enjoy real flowers inside and outside.

Re: Anyone order the BL TSV hanging baskets yet?

I think faux flowers have come a long way since the 70's plastic looking ones.

I love real flowers, but I've invested in some really beautiful faux flowers from Michael's over the years.  I love them because they look real but I can keep them for weeks until I change them out for the next season.  I have tulips, lilacs and forsythia for Spring, geraniums for Summer and sunflowers for Autumn.  I take good care of them and they reward me by looking beautiful...and real!  As a matter of fact, I have a tall tin vase of faux forsythia on the floor by my fireplace and they look lovely, several visitors to my home asked me if I grew them, not knowing they were not real.

I do love to buy real flowers maybe once a month, especially if I'm having company over and I want them for the center of the dinner table.  But I think faux flowers can definitely have their place in the home, as long as they are made of quality material and look like the real thing!

Re: Anyone order the BL TSV hanging baskets yet?

I also bought the hanging Petunias many years ago and they held up well. I pre-ordered one of the pink baskets and it is beautiful. I took it out of the box, to take a look, but didn't fluff it out yet. I'm sure once I do it will look lush. I will hang it on a 6' shepherds hook in my garden. It will match my everblooming azalea. Today I ordered 3 more pink to hang on my deck. I liked several of the colors, but the pink works best for me since the pot hanging in the garden can be seen together with those on the deck. I spent enough already or I would have also gotten 2 of the white or purple baskets and 2 of the matching urns to place on the deck floor. I don't bother with the lights, I no need for batteries. If they were real I wouldn't add lights.
