Anyone get the Sharper Image Elec. Floor Steamer TSV? What am I doing wrong?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to keep either the blue fabric or white paper "scrubber" attached to the Steamer. Just like the Swiffer, the Velcro stickums DO NOT STAY FASTENED. Use it for a few minutes & it keeps falling off. I put rubber bands on the Swiffer, but can't exactly do that w/the Elec one due to the hot steam. Any suggestions? I don't want to return it, but it was like $60 so want to continue to use it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Why they don't have something for the scrubber part to firmly attach to the steamer, I don't know!
