Any TracPhone TSV coming soon? - Page 2

I have had the Motorola G6 since last November, and it is my favorite Tracfone out of all that I've had. I got it as a Black Friday special, and it was $169.96 then. It is feature-laden, and I do use most of the features. It is CDMA.

This is a fabulous case for it available on Amazon. It looks so expensive and has GREAT side grips while not making the phone bulky. Just type this in the Amazon search bar:

If you need a GSM phone as you live in an area with only GSM service, to go Amazon and buy an unlocked GSM phone of which there are several models. Then go to TracFone and use their "Bring Your Own Phone" service. It may not have the perks of the TSV in terms of minutes but the plan is acceptable.

Beware TF customer service

I ordered the e5 last November and activated in January ... phone stopped working even though it said battery was full.

It was still under warrantee so I returned it to TracFone for a replacement. Of course I had to return the one that stopped working before I received the new one. After activation my original minutes (I have a boat-load from previous TFs) were not on the new phone and I couldn't get their customer service to replace them. It was a nightmare ...

Long story short, I called HSN CS and since I have all the information and serial numbers from my previous phones, they were able to intervene and got my minutes restrored.

I just can't say enough good things about HSN's Customer Service specialists and supervisors who went to bat on my behalf!

I hope the battery on this new Motorola lasts until November when I'll replace it with some other brand.

My mom ordered this for my stepdad when it was the HSN special. He only had it a couple of months and it died after an update. My brother, who's a phone genius, tried to fix it and couldn't. I hope anyone who gets this phone doesn't end up with any issues.
