Do you have to hold the "On" button down to keep the Dyson running?

I read that you have to keep your finger on the "On" button to keep it going. So that you save the battery.

@bonnie f They are pricey for sure, but I absolutely love our Dyson machines. We have a multilevel home and we have a dyson stick vac on each of the 4 levels and one that lived in the motorhome. Because of the cat rescue we run them constantly and due to a medical issue I have weakness in my hands and arms and cannot carry them up and down the steps. Over our 40 years we have tried about every brand of vac, including a Kirby that we still use in the garage! The interest free financing that QVC offers is what reeled me in years ago, I just bought the low reach adaptor for my V11.

Well, at least there was a lot of fashion this weekend. But yeah, I'm rarely in the market for a vacuum-maybe every Decade or so!

I think Dyson might be experiencing some problems with sales & that's why they are having so many TSV's on QVC .. it helps to reduce the inventory... it is such an overpriced item that people are looking elsewhere for a lower priced vacuum... I had Dyson's & switched to Shark which I like eveb better.😁

I noticed that Costco has several Dyson for sale. But you have to spend $700 to get a $200 discount. QVC price is much better.
