Re: Another ( Tech) Yawner Weekend Nov 18/19

@Othereeeen  agreed! I found a much better deal with more accessories for a soundbar at Best Buy to gift my parents for Christmas. For those hard of hearing, esp the dialog, I think a soundbar is a great invention. The Vizio we got my parents comes with a remote control, so once the settings on the soundbar are set to their liking (esp the diaglog for Mother), apparently they can use their regular TV remotes without having to worry about changing the sound every time on the soundbar remote! They link up together. Plus they get a subwoofer for the bass sounds and 2 little speakers for the higher level sounds.

@mspatmac@IamDoodles  we decided on Best Buy for a soundbar not only for the better deal but also because where my parents live, there's a Best Buy. Easy to return or exchange in person.

I just returned an HP.  I'll go to Best Buy.

QVC'S Christmas gift selections have always been dismal and just when you think they can't get any worse, they do.  It's basically the same junk they peddle all year around with a few flashlights thrown into the mix.

Wouldn't ot be fun if they had some nice arty, classy gift selections?  It would be fun to shop without any yelling and screaming.  When I'm elected CEO,  we'll have a unit that does nothing but source nice gift items.

Set of 2 5,000 mAh for $60. Ridiculous. By the way, why does host claim it's a bogo? Personally, I don't buy a power bank with less than 10,000 mAh and one can get a 10,000 mAh for less than $30. Please people do your homework - this is not a good value.

My sister’s husband is a computer engineer and just laughs anytime I ask him about a qvc tech offering. He said they’re selling to the uninformed buyer.
