I hear they are comfortable, but i do not understand why they make them with wide straps going across. It only makes your feet look wide, knid of like flintstone feet.

@Lostandscared Wider straps add to the comfort and ergonomics of the shoe.  Narrow straps do not support the foot as much in the shoe - In my experience.  As I have gotten older I choose comfort over looks more often.  Birkenstocks are the same way and I have been wearing those since I was in my early 20's.

I have worn both Vionic and Alegria. I prefer Alegria for comfort. I passed on the TSV because the patterns did not compliment the clothing colors I wear. I was ready to buy but did not find one that added anymore to what I already have. If you ordered a pair for the first time, I think you will find them a gem. I only wear the lower rocker style.

A question for you Alegria lovers.  Why do you love them?  Do they compare to Vionic in any way?  They look ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE, and I'm quite tempted.  I'd love to hear why you love this brand!

I like them better than Vionic; though I buy them also.  Alegria shoes last forever and very good support.  They look great and I get compliments all the time, while my feet feel great.  If you like Vionic, I'm sure you will like Alegria.

I agree that Alegrias last forever!  I have five pairs of sandals with the same footbed as the TSV from years ago.  One can replace the footbed (they pop in & out) and when I do they look like they are brand new. I find them to be very comfortable with good arch support.

Because this TSV looks so similar to the ones I already have, I'm a bit disappointed and wanted something with a newer look. I also don't care for the scalloped look on the design.  This TSV is an easy pass for me.

I was wondering the same thing as SurferWife re how the tsv brand compares to Vionic. Sounds like most really like the Alegria brand for comfort and support.  Where do you order the Algeria new footbeds from?

I did order the tsv and hope they work for my poor feet.

I can't believe I rec'd these today (Sunday 3/19). That was fast shipping. They do have a different feel than Vionics. I will wear around the house a few days. They seem comfortable, just different. The fit was perfect. I'm glad the vendor said to not size up w/ open toe shoes. He was correct for my feet.

SurferWife you will have time to adjust to your new Birkenstocks before the Alegria arrive. Smiley Happy

I ended up not buying the Alegria TSV.  I did just get home from the Birkenstock store and bought a new pair of white Arizona style.  I've worn Birkenstocks for years & since I trust the brand I went with what I know & love.

I ordered these in the black but am returning them.  While they are comfortable and good quality, I don't like how they look on my feet.

I received mine on Sunday as well.  I love this brand and have several.  One pair I've worn so much over the years that they are looking rather, well, worn.  So, bought another pair and love them.  I get a ton of compliments on them as well.

I have a couple of pairs of Alegria shoes and like them.  I got the purple flowered TSV in the wide width and they're really cute, but I have to return them.  I have wide feet and a high arch.  Even with adjusting the velcro straps, these don't feel good and a bigger pair would be too long.  Also, when I move the straps to make the fit wider, there is so much plain white velcro showing that it takes away from the look of the pattern.  Bummer.

Just got mine.  I bought them in Freedom Rock.  I love them!   They feel so good on my feet and they look cool!
