I am sure many people will buy it, but I wonder could it really be worth it?

I think it was PT Barnum who said, there's one born every minute.

I disagree, there are people who love the Dyson hair items. My stylist swears by them. Just because it is not for you, it doesn't make those who consider it a fool.

My daughter bought the hair dryer for my granddaughter who has very thick curly long hair and swears by it. I will ask her if she wants the tsv. It's not for everyone.

If I ever entertain the idea of buying a hair tool that costs half of my house payment....call the men in the white coats.

Here in steamy Florida, there's no point in attempting to have a hairstyle anyway. I tried when we first moved here. By the time I step out the front door it's gone. Gave up and call whatever my hair does in this humidity, a "style" lol

I would hope it comes with some kind of warranty.   That is a very big ticket item.  I don't judge people who are willing to spend that kind of money.  That's their money if they choose to spend it that way

Bottom line, Dyson makes good products. But the barrel is too long for short hair.  Ideal for long hair.  Typical Dyson, good but way over priced.  If you'gre going for a Dayson, save it for a vaccum or their hair dryer.

If I had a head of beautiful healthy hair, I might consider purchasing.

I suppose if you have a lot of hair then it would be worth every strand. But for myself a quick and light air brush suits me just fine....not much hair there to worry about.
