Re: 2/3 TSV DIAMOND STUD EARRINGS

[ Edited ]

Such an easy pass for me.

First, I have better ways to spend money.  Second, I have the unfortunate habit of losing earrings.  I have earrings that I don’t wear out of the house because of this.  I am one of those people who wears a mask to protect myself, as I am old and have a pre-existing condition.  Taking a mask on and off may have contributed to this.

So I bought the JAI white topaz studs to wear outside the house.  And a few pairs of the big D, along with other much lesser cost stones in earrings, pretty no less.  Works for me!

Fortunately, I have never lost a ring!

Unless your goal is to give local buyers a good deal, I would contact a local auctioneer and see if they are interested in your collection.  You will get some money back that way if that is a concern.

I worry about my earrings when wearing a mask - I'm always feeling for them.

I loved the 1 carat 3 stone hidden heart ring that was just on - good price - it sold out.

I'm old school I guess, if I want diamonds, I just don't want lab created.  I'd rather have diamonique as opposed to lab created. I have 1 carat diamond studs from maybe 20 years ago.  I wore them for awhile and then just started wearing tiny 14k gold hoops.  Maybe becuase I have shoulder length hair, earrings are not where I want to spend my money.  I'm all about 18k gold bangle bracelets.  Love my Cartier trinity bangles and my assorted others, I love making a stack.  If I spend the money I want to be able to appreciate looking at it on my wrist.

I can't bring myself to wear CZS but these are DIAMONDS!

My jeweler, with whom I am on a first-name basis, is a diamond specialist for at least 4 decades. He is all about lab grown diamonds and bought his wife a lab grown diamond for Christmas, set in the 14K ring setting of her choice.

As I like my diamonds where I can see them and I fear losing a diamond earring, I will stick with Diamonique. I have shoulder length hair and studs are not my go-to earirngs anyway. If they were, I might consider lab grown with the most secure backs.

Anyone know what type of backs the TSV earrings have?

The TSV earrings have post with screw-backs. You can sort of see the posts with threading on them in this pic...zoom in:

Re: 2/3 TSV DIAMOND STUD EARRINGS

I have terrible luck with diamond earrings.

My husband bought me diamond studs years ago....I lost one about 1 month later and never found it.

He then bought me diamond hoops and I lost one again and never found it.

I switched to Diamonique to replace the look of the lost studs and hoops and have never lost one...I guess diamond earrings were not made for me to be worn.

If I wanted any more diamonds, I would certainly consider lab grown.  However, I prefer rings and I only have so many fingers. Cat LOL

I like the TSV but I already have diamond earrings and I never wear them because they were expensive. That vendor gives off the vibe that she would do anything for money and status.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

@SilleeMee

Glad you posted this.  Many of the comments here are stating they are not real diamonds, and they are.  I could care less about resale value.  When I am gone I really don't think my kids will be running out to sell my jewelry; at least I hope not!  With 2 daughters and 5 granddaughters I hope they will enjoy wearing my jewelry and think of me when they do.
